Hubbardton Forge puts a focus on its commercial team

Hubbardton Forge, with a focus on the strong growth of the Commercial business, announced the promotion of Amy McGuire to the role of National Commercial Sales Manager, and the addition of Jacqueline Matusek as A&D Sales Specialist in New York City.

A 17-year veteran of Hubbardton Forge, Amy McGuire has a deep knowledge of the brand and understanding of design trends. A graduate of FIT in NYC, her early experience in the fashion and music industries gives Amy a unique perspective when it comes to design and working with the creative community. Her ability to share her expertise in emerging lighting technologies and interest in understanding each partner’s individual projects, allow her to work with specifiers and purchasers in developing the right lighting solutions for the toughest challenges. “I am thrilled to be a part of the dynamic and innovative hospitality and commercial community. I welcome the opportunity to create new relationships and to contribute to A&D firms’ lighting design for their projects,” according to Amy.

Jacqueline Matusek’s first trip to the Forge goes back a number of years, during the development of the Synchronicity by Hubbardton Forge line of lighting. At the time, Jacqui was in business development with Swarovski Professional, working closely with HF’s Design Director, David Kitts on a new line of high-end lighting incorporating crystals. From there began a relationship that was centered around the artisanry and striving for quality that Jacqui felt was an absolute “must” for success at the commercial level, “The most rewarding part about working with design clients is collaborating on ideas and coming up with unique solutions for all types of projects. The design possibilities at HF are certainly endless but it’s the creative process, when our ideas really start to take form, that I truly enjoy.” Prior to her years at Swarovski, Ms. Matusek served as Northeast Regional Manager for THG Paris, and as Area Sales Manager for Artemide. In her new role with Hubbardton Forge, Jacqui will be calling on her existing portfolio as well as other NYC-based clients in the architectural and design communities.

“The world has clearly changed…but, people will get back to traveling, enjoying the dining experience, getting back to work and their daily lives,” said Chris Recchia, Vice President of Sales for Hubbardton Forge, “but, the value of design has become even more important, as a touchpoint with the ability to enhance each person’s life.”

For over 45 years, Hubbardton Forge created made-to-order, handcrafted products in an environmentally responsible way.
