Community Bank NA announces promotion of Colin Burns to Commercial Banking Officer

Community Bank NA is pleased to announce the promotion of Colin Burns to commercial banking officer in South Burlington, Vermont. In his new role, Burns will develop and grow commercial banking relationships across Vermont in a variety of industries. He will also manage existing customers to deepen relationships through additional products and services.

Burns has been with Community Bank NA since 2016, when he joined the team as credit analyst. He most recently served as credit analyst III, responsible for preparing credit offerings and analyzing risk and repayment capacity of borrowers.

“We’re thrilled to recognize Colin’s hard work and dedication with this promotion,” Community Bank NA Commercial Banking Officer Group Manager Bruce Bernier said. “Colin joined our team soon after earning his bachelor’s degree and hit the ground running. Burns earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Outside the office, he is active in the community as a participant of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Northern Vermont’s Cancer Truck Pull. Burns lives in Colchester.
