CHCB announce new Medical Director of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health

The Community Health Centers of Burlington (CHCB) are pleased to announce the promotion of Adam Greenlee, MD to the position of Medical Director of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Dr. Greenlee will replace Harris Strokoff, MD, who is transitioning to private practice after six years with CHCB.

“Adam’s interests and expertise in care transformation, population health, and integrated care will be assets to CHCB for years to come. I am very excited that he will be taking over this role,” Dr. Strokoff said of his successor. Dr. Greenlee has been with CHCB since 2015 and has been a key part of both the Psychiatry and Medical teams as he is a dual certified Psychiatry and Family Medicine physician. In addition to his new position, Dr. Greenlee will maintain his medical practice, continuing primary care with his existing patients.

“It is with great humility that I follow in the footsteps of Dr. Harris Strokoff, who created and expanded the current Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at CHCB,” Dr. Greenlee shared. “I look forward to the challenges and opportunities of continuing to grow our department to best support those who come to CHCB for care, and continue to think creatively about how we can best support our primary care mission within a dynamic health care landscape.”

Since 1971, the Community Health Centers of Burlington have provided quality health care for Vermonters regardless of financial or insurance status. One of 12 Federally Qualified Health Centers in the state, CHCB has eight locations and is one of the largest nonprofit family health and dental practices in Chittenden and Grand Isle counties.
