Cari Kelley elected board president of Franklin County Chamber

The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce has recently elected Cari Kelley as president of the executive board. Cari currently serves the community in her role as workplace donor relations manager at United Way of Northwest Vermont. There she works with local businesses and their employees to drive workplace donor engagement, helping to educate the local workforce on issues facing our local community and United Way’s role in solving them.

Cari came to United Way after more than 10 years at the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce where she ran both leadership development and workforce education programs, including the Leadership Champlain program. She has also served as the development director at Make-A-Wish® and as membership development and event management at Vermont Builders & Remodelers Association (formerly Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern Vermont). She is currently a wish grantor with Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont and serves on the boards of Destination Imagination and the State Rehabilitation Council. She lives in Grand Isle with her family.

“As we look forward to United Way’s continued growth and engagement in Franklin County, we are thrilled to watch Cari further her relationship building with stakeholders, businesses and the community at large,” said Jesse Bridges, CEO of United Way. “Her continued leadership in Franklin County will serve its residents well and help us all reach our shared goals for a prosperous community.”
