The Bank of Bennington is pleased to announce the promotion of four long-time employees whose dedication and commitment continues to contribute to the success of the bank. Wendy Chenaille has been promoted to Vice President of Mortgage Origination, Patricia Bass has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Customer Solution Specialist, Kate Keough has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Commercial and Consumer Loan Operations and Maegan Wood has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Underwriter.
Wendy Chenaille, VP Mortgage Origination, joined The Bank of Bennington in 1996 as a Mortgage Originator following a seventeen-year banking career. Her forty-year banking career has given her the expertise to provide superior service to our customers and community. Chenaille has served on several community boards over the years including the Bennington Rescue Squad, Bennington Chamber of Commerce, Sacred Heart Fundraising and a Bennington Rotarian. She is currently President of the Norshaft Lions Club and a Meals on Wheels volunteer. Chenaille grew up in Bennington and still resides here. She is a proud mother of two adult children.
Patricia Bass, AVP Customer Solution Specialist, joined The Bank of Bennington as a loss mitigation specialist in 2009 following a twenty-seven year career as a paralegal. Bass’s experience as a paralegal has given her the expertise to manage loss mitigation and work with customers to find solutions to financial hardship. Bass resides in Jackson, NY with her husband and is the proud mother of adult twins.
Kate Keough, AVP of Commercial and Consumer Loan Operations, joined The Bank of Bennington in 2003 as a customer service representative. In 2009, she transitioned to commercial loan operations. Keough has more than eighteen years of community banking experience. Keough is a 2017 graduate of the New England School of Financial Studies. She lives in White Creek, NY with her husband and son.
Maegan Wood, AVP Mortgage Underwriter. Wood joined The Bank of Bennington in 2000 as a teller and quickly advanced into commercial loan operations and in 2011 transitioned to the mortgage department. Wood, has been a mortgage underwriter for The Bank of Bennington for the past seven years. A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University in 2015 with a master’s degree in Business Administration, Wood also earned a Certified Residential Underwriter designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association in 2018. Wood lives in Hoosick, NY with her husband and two sons.
