AllEarth Renewables welcomes Blittersdorf as a Business Development Analyst

AllEarth Renewables, Inc. of Williston VT, announced today that Evan Blittersdorf will join the company serving in the role of Business Development Analyst. Evan comes to the company as a lifelong renewable energy enthusiast who recently received a Global Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Korea University in Seoul, South Korea. Evan’s initial focus will be on administering the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) program for AllEarth Services, the financial services division of AllEarth Renewables.

AllEarth Services was the first company in Vermont to offer a solar PPA. For over 9 years, the business has financed AllEarth Solar Trackers for Vermont homeowners, businesses, schools, towns, and non-profits. Committed to local, affordable, renewable energy for all, AllEarth Services currently owns 748 solar trackers, responsible for 4,490 DC Kw of energy production.

Evan grew up in Charlotte, VT, the son of AllEarth founder David Blittersdorf. He graduated from Champlain Valley High School, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from UVM. His interests in geo-politics, philosophy, and other global issues led him to travel, and eventually to South Korea. Here, he spent time teaching English, freelancing, and intensively studying to become fluent in Korean, before successfully pursuing his MBA. His time overseas gave him a fresh perspective on the complexity and interconnectedness of global energy issues, and the urgency with which other nations around the world are moving to combat climate change. Following graduation, Evan was excited to return home to put his passion and experience to work supporting AllEarth’s mission of reducing carbon emissions. Evan is the proud owner of a three solar tracker array in Fairfield, VT, which provides clean, affordable, local energy to the Town of Fairfax and the Fairfax Fire Department.

“I was very fortunate to grow up in a family that valued being good stewards of our environment, and understood that the way we currently use energy is doing irreparable harm to our planet,” said Evan. “My time abroad reinforced the urgency of combating the carbon emissions crisis, and perspective on how the rest of the world is adapting and evolving. Climate change is the critical issue of our time, and I feel privileged to be working for a company that is helping provide innovative solutions to our energy challenges.”
