Stone Environmental, a Montpelier-based environmental consulting firm, is excited to announce that Peter Lazorchak, PE, LEED AP has joined the company as a Senior Water Resources Engineer. Peter will provide senior leadership for Stone’s growing environmental engineering practice, as well as support Stone’s stormwater management, agricultural engineering, stream restoration, and wastewater management services.
“Peter takes an integrated approach to land planning and site design, balancing client needs, the built landscape, and natural resources protection,” said Dave Braun, Water Resources Management Leader. “His leadership skills and broad engineering experience strengthen our ability and capacity to serve our clients’ diverse needs.”
Peter has over 20 years of experience and a diverse background in civil engineering, environmental assessment and permitting, and construction oversight. His expertise includes wastewater and stormwater system design, civil/site engineering, erosion prevention and sediment control, and navigating federal, state, and local and Act 250 permitting processes. Peter has managed teams of civil engineers, surveyors, geologists, water quality scientists, landscape architects, and environmental engineers to support projects throughout New England.
Peter is a Professional Engineer in Vermont, a Vermont Class B Licensed Designer, and a LEED Accredited Professional. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a minor in Economics from Lehigh University.
