Stone Environmental is pleased to announce that David Abrahamson, PE, PMP has been hired as a Senior Engineer to further develop Stone’s Environmental Assessment and Remediation service offerings and environmental engineering services. Dave will provide senior engineering leadership, as well as apply his project management and leadership skills to enhance Stone’s delivery of projects. Dave has been providing his expertise to Stone on specific projects on a part-time basis since April of this year.
Dave brings 25 years of experience within the industry, with demonstrated success in leading complex teams of engineers, scientists, and stakeholders to deliver environmental-related services to the satisfaction of project owners. His broad technical experience includes environmental site assessment and remediation, environmental permitting and compliance, water supply studies, stormwater management, hydraulics, and energy efficiency. Prior to joining Stone, Dave spent his career among three other firms where he applied engineering and project management practices to a broad range of services, including work on Superfund sites.

Dave is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Hampshire and New York (Vermont pending) and holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. He obtained his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He lives with his wife and two sons in East Montpelier, Vermont.
