Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP is pleased to announce that attorneys Vincent J Todd and Eliza H van Lennep have joined the firm as Associates.
Prior to joining the firm, Vince worked for a New Jersey land use litigation firm, where he was fortunate enough to work remotely from the Green Mountain State, and simultaneously coach young ski racers. Vince also clerked for the Vermont Superior Court, Lamoille and Orleans Units, working on a broad range of civil and criminal litigation.
Vince is originally from New Jersey and has called Vermont home for over a decade. When he is not practicing law, you can find him cheering on his beloved Manchester United and New York Giants. Once the first snow has fallen, Vince is on the ski slopes, coaching youth ski racers for the GMVS-Sugarbush Ski Club.
Prior to joining the firm, Eliza clerked for the Vermont Attorney General’s Office in the Civil Rights Unit and the Chittenden County State’s Attorneys’ Office. At Vermont Law School, she was the Head Notes Editor of the Vermont Law Review, a Dean’s Fellow, and Co-Chair of the Women’s Law Group. She was also a member of the Moot Court Advisory Board and competed at the Emory Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court Competition in 2017. Eliza was awarded an Albert Schweitzer fellowship, for which she completed a service project to inform college students and academic institutions about rights and obligations under Title IX. At graduation, Eliza was honored with the National Association of Women Lawyers award for her contributions to Vermont Law School.
Eliza lives in the Old North End, grew up in New Hampshire, and was a competitive rower in Boston before she moved to Vermont. She now enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, and kayaking, but is always considering a return to rowing on the Lamoille River.
