Rutland Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Michael Hurtado, MD, to their Surgical Team. Dr Hurtado will be affiliated with Rutland General Surgery, a department of Rutland Regional Medical Center. He received his BS in Biology from the University of Miami, Hialeah, Florida and his Medical Degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr Hurtado completed his residency in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. He is board-certified in General Surgery.

Dr Hurtado is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, boating and diving. He and his wife have one daughter and will be residing in Rutland Town.
