N4A elects Stern to Board of Directors

The National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (N4A) has elected Beth Stern, Executive Director of Central Vermont Council on Aging (CVCOA) to her second consecutive term as a member of its Board of Directors. N4A is a membership association representing America’s national network of 622 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), providing a voice in the nation’s capital. CVCOA and the four other regional agencies on aging in Vermont are long-standing members of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging.

N4A’s Board members play an integral role in the Association. Board members are responsible for ensuring that N4A fulfills its mission while providing governance and accountability for its operations, serving as active members on standing committees, and providing essential input on N4A’s activities and direction. In addition to Ms. Stern being elected to the national board, Meg Burmeister, Executive director of the Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging was elected as an alternate member of the N4A’s board.

Beth Stern has served as the Executive Director for Central Vermont Council on Aging for over twelve years. CVCOA has been serving aging Central Vermonters for over 40 years.
