Sailing Center welcomes Roa as Coordinator of Communications and Development

The Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center announces Bianca Roa as the newest member of its team, coming onboard as Coordinator of Communications and Development. Roa’s new role will include strengthening the Center’s long-term fundraising capabilities, implementing new marketing strategies and producing media content. “From digital marketing to events coordination, Bianca has gained the necessary skills to make her a perfect match here at the Sailing Center,” said Owen Milne, executive director of the Sailing Center. “With our new facility open and summer’s arrival in Burlington, we couldn’t be happier to have someone who is so prepared to continue this journey with us.”

Roa recently earned a degree in marketing from Champlain College where she graduated summa cum laude. Last year, she interned at National Life Group and RetroMotion Creative, improving her event and conference planning skills while sharpening her social media and marketing expertise.
