Falcone selected as fourth Executive Director of Mercy Connections

The Mercy Connections Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Lisa Falcone has been selected as the fourth Executive Director of Mercy Connections. Lisa comes to Mercy Connections from United Way of Northwest Vermont, where she currently serves as the Working Bridges Director. She is also a Founder and Senior Advisor of WorkLab Innovations, a start-up organization that is supporting communities across the country as they replicate and build sustainable workplace practices through employer networks. Lisa spent many previous years working in higher education and business/industry workforce development. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maine, and a Master of Arts from Bowling Green State University. Lisa and her husband, Tristram Coffin, have three children--Sam and Emily are in college and Nate is a senior at Champlain Valley Union High School.

For a long time, I have admired the excellent staff and, of course, the Sisters of Mercy who have been on the forefront of social innovation and impact,” Falcone said. “Mercy Connections has helped many, many citizens find their confidence, purpose and place in our community. It is my honor to be a part of this important work and vital organization moving forward.”

Regarding the transition, current Executive Director, Dolly Fleming, says, "When an executive retires from a leadership position in a beloved, mission driven organization, it is always with a sense of faith that the organization will continue to glow and grow. I couldn’t be more relieved and excited to know that Lisa Falcone will become the next Executive Director. I have immense respect and admiration for this very fine professional.”
