Health Care and Rehabilitation Services (HCRS), southeastern Vermont’s community mental-health agency, announced today that it has elected Michelle Bos-Lun and Stephen Greene to its Board of Directors. Both new members bring a wealth of knowledge of mental health and substance abuse services to the non-profit agency.
Michelle Bos-Lun, a high school teacher at Okemo Mountain School in Ludlow, has extensive experience working with children, youth, and families. She has been very involved with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) since 2010. Bos-Lun served on the NAMI Board, chaired their Vermont State Conference Committee, and taught their Family to Family class in Brattleboro, Westminster, and Springfield. She continues to facilitate a monthly NAMI family support group. Bos-Lun also has experience working with Youth Services. As a former Case Manager, she worked with youth in transition who were facing homelessness. She also directed their RAMP job mentoring program for youth in three Windham County high schools. Bos-Lun lives in Westminster with her husband, Ron.
Stephen Greene has been connected with HCRS since the early 1980’s, through the service needs of family, friends, and employees as well as by providing housing in the Brattleboro and Springfield regions for many of the agency’s clients. Greene moved to the region in 1972, operating numerous businesses including restaurants, bakeries, construction companies, and real estate development. In addition, Greene serves on the board of the Springfield Food Co-op.

HCRS’ Board consists of 12 volunteer community members who are deeply committed to the success of the agency and the individuals it serves.
