Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) recently welcomed Kristyn Wood as the new Administrative Director of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. “Kristyn comes to us with impressive experience in specialty practice management, and a great understanding of the ever-evolving health care field,” said Steven R. Gordon, President and CEO of BMH. “We’re excited to work with her to further develop our orthopaedic and sports medicine services here at BMH.”
Wood received her BA in Healthcare Management from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. Most recently, she served as the Manager of Cardiovascular Ambulatory Services for Baystate Health in Springfield, MA. Prior to her tenure with Baystate Health, Wood was a nuclear medicine technologist for Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA.
“What drew me to BMH was the community of caring people who strive to provide great care for their patients,” commented Wood.
