Anesthesiologist Dr Rohan joins Gifford Medical Center

Dr Christopher Rohan has joined Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, bringing 15 years of experience in providing anesthesia services to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Before coming to Gifford he worked at Copley Hospital, where he was Chief of Anesthesia, and the Central Vermont Anesthesia Association, Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin. “I’ve worked in Vermont hospitals since finishing my Anesthesiology training at Dartmouth in 2002 and especially enjoy interacting with patients and making them feel well cared for,” he said. “Working in a small hospital like Gifford offers me the opportunity to connect in this way with patients and families.”

Board-certified by the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Dr Rohan received a BA from the University of Vermont and a MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his Family Practice internship at the Medical Center in Beavery, PA, and his Anesthesiology residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
