Vanessa Chaffee has been named Employee of the Month for July, 2017 at Mt Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC). Chaffee is the Lead Secretary for the Primary Care Clinic. “Vanessa is such an asset to Mt Ascutney Hospital and Health Center,” said Chaffee’s supervisor, Heather Rumrill. “She willingly takes on difficult tasks and turns them into challenges. As Lead Secretary, she has to be open to all situations, including training new employees, managing Oncology scheduling, covering when others call in sick, and even patient registration when needed. As we focus on delivering team-based care to our patients, Vanessa is the epitome of a team player here in the Clinic.” Rumrill also pointed to Chaffee’s knowledge of the computer system and her willingness to share her expertise with others, as well as her ability to change her daily routine on short notice as qualities that make her deserving of this recognition.
Chaffee joined the MAHHC staff in May, 2013 and lives in Charlestown, NH.
