Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced that VHFA has hired a new Multifamily Management Officer. Andrea Tieso comes to VHFA from Summit Property Management where she has worked since 2014 as a Compliance Specialist. She has many years of experience in property management and has worked specifically with Housing Tax Credits and Section 8 housing. Andrea lives is Charlotte with her husband and three children.
VHFA is a non-profit agency created in 1974 by the Vermont Legislature to finance and promote affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Vermonters. Since its inception, the Agency has helped approximately 28,000 Vermont households with affordable mortgages and financed the development of approximately 8,600 affordable rental UNITS.
