Facey Goss & McPhee PC has added Katelyn B Atwood to its staff of attorneys

The Rutland law firm of Facey Goss & McPhee PC is proud to announce that it has added Katelyn B Atwood to its staff of attorneys. Katelyn, a native of Michigan, earned her BA in Political Science & History from Alma College. She earned a Master of Philosophy in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge in England in 2010 and graduated from Vermont Law School in 2011. Atwood has served as a law clerk in the Chancery Division at the New Jersey Superior Court. She was a staff attorney at the Montana Legal Services Association where she focused on domestic violence, housing and consumer affair issues. She recently served as the Vermont Poverty Law Fellow at the South Royalton Legal Clinic where she built the Vermont Veterans Legal Assistance Project to improve access to justice for Vermont’s veterans.

Katelyn’s practice will focus in the areas of veteran benefits, specifically veterans disability benefits and discharge upgrades. She will also focus on social security benefits and appeals, family law and civil litigation. She will be a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Atwood serves as a Board member of the Vermont Women’s Fund.
