Mt Ascutney Hospital and Health Center names Liz Sheehan Employee of the Month for July

Liz Sheehan, RN, has been named Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) Employee of the Month for July, 2016. Sheehan heads the nursing staff at Ottauquechee Health Center (OHC) and was cited by Anel Sirois, CMA Nurse Manager/Clinical Leader for her hard work and dedication to the staff and patients at OHC. “Liz is not only kind and considerate, she is also deeply involved in improving patient outcomes by collaborating with other MAHHC staff members to improve and standardize processes,” said Sirois, adding that “Liz is a great team leader who encourages her nurses to learn and grow in their careers, and helps makes sure that OHC is always “survey-ready.”

Sheehan also works in-house with Dr. Steven Smith on the Hospital’s Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP), which delivers training and support on the Medical Annual Wellness Visit, Chronic Care Management, Advanced Care Planning and Dementia Care. “We feel very fortunate to have Liz on our team,” said Sirois, “and we congratulate her on being named MAHHC’s July Employee of the Month.”
