Sustainability expert Thomas M. Parris promoted to President of ISCIENCES, L.L.C.

ISCIENCES, L.L.C. announced today the promotion of Thomas M. Parris to president. “I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the talented and hard-working employees of ISCIENCES,” said Parris, “and I look forward to leading our company as the integration and application of remote sensing data, sustainability science, and information systems become more crucial to our changing world.”

Mr. Parris, who is a long-time resident of Shelburne, VT, joined ISCIENCES in 2001 and currently heads the company’s Vermont office. He takes over the leadership role from founder Michael D. Metzler. Prior to assuming the role of president, he served as Vice President and Director of Sustainability Programs for ISCIENCES and led numerous projects assessing global water stress, climate change, corporate sustainability and human security for a variety of government, corporate, and non-profit clients.

“Tom has been a vital part of ISCIENCES for over 15 years,” said Michael Metzler, vice president of ISCIENCES. “His solid expertise and leadership skills have contributed to our growth and will no doubt continue to benefit our clients and employees.
