Geoffrey Hesslink, president and chief executive officer for Merchants Bank, has announced the promotion of Anita Bourgeois to Senior Vice President and Senior Director, Deposit Growth and Profitability.
“Anita’s experience, skill set and market presence make her ideally suited to run our deposit business. She has contributed significantly to the growth of our company and we are thrilled that she will lead this critical and dynamic business,” Geoffrey stated. Ms. Bourgeois joined Merchants Bank in 2008 with over 20 year’s banking experience. Prior to her promotion she was manager of Government Banking and Cash Management for the past 8 years. Ms. Bourgeois has extensive experience in banking including community banking and retail management. Ms. Bourgeois is a graduate of Trinity College.
