Grace Cottage Hospital announces the appointment of two new board members, Ed Druke of Newfane to the Grace Cottage Hospital Board of Trustees, and Suzanne Welch of Grafton, to the Grace Cottage Foundation Board. Druke is no stranger to Grace Cottage; he was born there, as were his two sons. After working at Northeast Well Drilling and then at Tri-State Automotive, Druke accepted a job at WW Building Supply, which has locations in Newfane and in Wilmington. Together with his wife Terri, Druke purchased the business in 2005. Welch brings a wealth of corporate experience to the Foundation Board. A graduate of Eisenhower College with a degree in political science, she was a Kodak-sponsored participant in the executive development program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She then worked for PictureVision, a division of Eastman Kodak and as a Corporate Vice President for Corning in New York. She later returned to Kodak as Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for compensation and benefit programs worldwide. She also was Executive Director of the Rochester (NY) Academy of Medicine and served on the Board of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, two years as Chair.
