Barb Watters of Alan Ashe Insurance in Essex, VT recently competed in and won the Region 1 Confidence While Communicating Speak-Off in South Portland, Me. Region 1 is made up of the 6 New England States, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Confidence While Communicating (CWC) is a highly prestigious program offered to members of the International Association of Insurance Professionals. Competitors present a three-minute prepared speech and also complete a one-minute impromptu speech and are judged by an unbiased panel of experts. Barb will now compete on the International Level at the 75th Annual IAIP Convention in Richmond, VA.
The International Association of Insurance Professionals was officially organized in 1940 and is an association of insurance professionals dedicated to the development of leaders in the insurance industry. The national organization has 225 local associations throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The association is best known for providing insurance education, skills enhancement, and leadership development to its members.
