Engineering Ventures has announced the addition of two new Staff Engineers to the Burlington, Vermont office. Dylan Quinn has joined the structural engineering group, and Hannah Wingate joins the civil engineering group.
Dylan Quinn, E.I., has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Along with coursework in the design of steel, timber, and concrete structures, Dylan also studied computerized structural analysis and building information modeling techniques at the Technical University of Denmark. Dylan is interested in how computer technology can make the structural design process more efficient which ultimately leads to more cost effective and higher performing structures. He is actively pursuing licensure as a Professional Engineer.
Hannah Wingate, E.I., has worked in civil engineering consulting since obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont. Hannah has a strong background in field work having performed an extensive amount of surveying for engineering site work, boundary plats and utility as-built surveys. Her qualifications also include construction & erosion prevention and sediment control oversight and design as well as stormwater inspection, permitting and design. Most recently, Hannah has experience with Vermont’s Section 248 permitting process through the development of solar power generation facilities ranging from 500-kilowatt to 5.5-megawatt projects. Her involvement on these projects has ranged from assessing project feasibility to permitting and design. She is eager to gain experience working on a variety of projects while staying on track for earning her professional engineering license.
