Ledyard National Bank announces new vice president and Norwich branch manager

Ledyard National Bank has announced Nicolaas Bekker as their new Vice President and Norwich branch manager. He brings nearly twenty years of customer service experience to his position, first in the hospitality industry before transitioning to banking. Nico’s dedication to providing excellent customer service matches Ledyard’s unparalleled personalized client service. Nico began his banking career in Fairfield County, Connecticut, after moving to the US in 2003.

Since arriving in the Upper Valley in 2010, he has been actively involved in the community, serving as the 2014-2016 President of the Rotary Club of White River Junction, Vermont (home of the local Polar Express) and as an ongoing board member of the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce (home of the Quechee Balloon Festival).

Nico was born and raised in the Netherlands, earning his Masters in Film and Television Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Nico lives in Lyme, NH with his wife Lauren.
