Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) has announced the hiring of Lucie Kidd as a full-time member of the staff. As VBSR’s Office Manager/Bookkeeper, Kidd will focus on making sure the office systems and functions run smoothly, members and service providers are accurately invoiced and paid, and that VBSR members have another person they can contact if they have questions or needs. “When I saw the VBSR position, it spoke to me. This is the kind of work I am good at and passionate about, and I am excited to be using my skills to help VBSR move corporate social responsibility forward,” said Kidd. “We’re thrilled to have Lucie on board with our close-knit team,” said VBSR Communication and Membership Manager Russ Elek. “She has the skills needed to excel at this position and fits right in with our staff’s style and personality.” Elek noted having Kidd on board has allowed staff members to re-focus on their own programs and areas of expertise. “Lucie has jumped right in and is already helping streamline our systems and processes, which helps the rest of us function more efficiently. As we wrap-up our 25th year, this is a great way to enter year 26 with positive momentum.” Kidd brings to VBSR many years of experience assisting in the ongoing financial health of non-profits in both New York and Vermont.
