KidSafe elects Bettina Dold, Jake Ide and Michael Schirling to board of directors

The KidSafe Collaborative, which works to improve our community’s response to child abuse and neglect, has elected three new Directors to its Board:

Bettina Dold, Marketing Director, Physician’s Computer Company; she is a resident of Burlington.

Jake Ide, Director of Development, Vermont Community Loan Fund; he is a resident of Richmond.

Michael Schirling, Executive Director of BTV Ignite and Retired Chief of Police, Burlington; he is a resident of Burlington.

KidSafe Collaborative addresses the need for coordinated support to children and families through interagency Child Protection Teams, the KidSafe Collaborative Council, a Community Advisory Board, and its statewide trainings for mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect. KidSafe is a partner agency of the United Way of Chittenden County.
