Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) welcomes new staff

The Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) is pleased to welcome Stephanie Kucinskas as Office/Data Manager. Kucinskas will oversee all of CLiF’s internal systems, manage CLiF’s growing database, and support programs and development.

Kucinskas graduated from Drake University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Prior to CLiF, Kucinskas worked in multiple New York-based entertainment media companies before moving to Vermont in 2012. She lives with her husband and daughter in Montpelier.

CLiF also welcomes Tracy Goldfine as Communications Manager. Her job is to strengthen and grow CLiF’s relationships with friends, supporters, and the media, and to keep CLiF partners and the public informed about literacy programs through the website, social media, blog, and newsletters.

A native of Waitsfield, VT, Goldfine comes to CLiF from River Arts in Morrisville, VT, where she served as executive director, and prior to that, development director. Goldfine graduated from the University of Vermont and earned a Nonprofit Management Graduate Certificate from Marlboro College. She lives in Stowe, VT with her family. CLiF is a non-profit organization founded in 1998. Its mission is to nurture a love of reading and writing among low-income, at-risk, and rural children in New Hampshire and Vermont. Over 17 years CLiF has supported and inspired more than 175,000 young readers and writers through five literacy program grants and has given away more than $3.5 million in new, high-quality children's books.
