AllEarth’s Andrew Savage reelected to represent national solar industry

Andrew Savage, chief strategy officer at the Vermont solar manufacturer AllEarth Renewables, has been reelected to serve on the board representing the national solar industry.

Savage will serve another two year term on the Solar Energy Industry Association's (SEIA) Board of Directors, the U.S. solar energy trade association with nearly 1,000 member-companies. The American solar industry employs nearly 200,000 workers and is one of the fastest growing industries in the country, creating jobs at a rate ten times the national job growth rate over the last year.

Savage, of Burlington, graduated from Middlebury College summa cum laude and serves on the management team of AllEarth Renewables, the manufacturer of the AllEarth Solar Tracker.

The AllEarth Solar Tracker is a dual-axis solar tracker that uses innovative GPS and wireless technology to follow the sun throughout the day, producing up to 45 percent more energy than rooftop solar. The company has manufactured and installed over 3,600 solar tracker systems to date nationwide. Among its product awards, the dual axis tracker was named a "Top-10 Green Product" by BuildingGreen magazine and "Top Product of the Year" by Solar Power World.
