The Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Vermont Convention Bureau has hired a new sales manager, Megan Hood. Megan joins the Vermont Convention Bureau from her previous role as the Sales Manager for Executive Meetings at Stowe Mountain Lodge. A graduate of the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, Megan has dual degrees in Hospitality & Tourism Management and Business Administration. Before moving to Vermont, she spent two years working and skiing in beautiful Lake Tahoe, California.
The Vermont Convention Bureau is a division of the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce and partner of the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing. The VCB aims to strengthen the economic vitality of the state by promoting it as a preferred meeting and convention destination.
