Local jazz musicians play for Mercy Connections

Mercy Connections has been nurturing self-sufficiency through education, mentoring, entrepreneurship and community since it was founded in 2001.

Co-Chaired by board members Leslie McCrorey Wells and Erica Dean, the third annual fall Jazz Jam event held at Champlain College was a packed house. Local musicians brought the house down! The event featured: Jody Albright, Paul Asbell, Audrey Bernstein, Joe Capps, Glendon Ingalls, Jenni Johnson, Brian Miller, Linda Oates, George Voland and Steve Wienert. Special thanks to event sponsors: Art and Writing for Resiliency, John Bossange, Virginia L. Hood & Leslie McCrorey Wells and to Pomerleau Real Estate for additional event support.

Mercy Connections is an educational values-driven non-profit organization living the legacy of the Sisters of Mercy. By compassionately nurturing self-sufficiency through education, mentoring, entrepreneurship and community, people are empowered to make significant life changes.
