Vermont solar developer groSolar announced several recent hires at its Vermont headquarters office. The new groSolar personnel, who were hired since March, are listed below:
Edward Upson, Senior Accountant Ed Upson joins the Finance & Administrative as a Senior Accountant. Ed brings to groSolar a strong finance background, having held positions as Controller/Site Manager at Casella Waste Management, Director of Finance at Drew’s Manufacturing, and most recently CFO at the Clara Martin Center in Randolph, VT.
Kevin Hurley, Assistant Superintendent Kevin joins the EPC Engineering & Construction team as an Assistant Superintendent. Kevin is a master electrician, licensed in both VT and NH, and has worked for himself for the past almost 31 years as owner of Hurley Electric in Canaan, NH.
Gary Stumpf, Assistant Superintendent Gary joins the EPC Engineering & Construction team as an Assistant Superintendent. Gary’s background is in construction, having held positions with the Town of Hartford, VT, Solid Waste Dept. and Casella Waste Management and Casella Construction Co.
Robert Hall, Assistant Superintendent Bob joins the EPC Engineering & Construction team as an Assistant. Bob is the owner of Hallco Enterprises in Lebanon, NH, a commercial and residential management and contacting, construction, excavation, electrical, and engineering company. Prior to owning Hallco Enterprises, Bob was a high voltage engineer with Central Vermont Public Service in Rutland, VT.
Peter Bay, Project Developer Peter joins groSolar as a Project Developer. Peter’s prior work experience has been in the renewable energy field, having held roles as a Sales Specialist at New England Hydropower Company, a Solar Advisor at Sungevity, and an Environmental Technician at Meridian Associates.
Drew Dillon, IT Systems Administrator Drew joins groSolar as an IT Systems Administrator. Drew is an IT professional who, prior to joining groSolar, held positions as a Helpdesk Sr. Associate, a Systems Engineer, and a Technical Support Specialist.
Arthur Tenner, Superintendent Art Tenner joins the EPC Engineering Construction team as a Superintendent. Prior to joining groSolar, Art was owner/President of Vermont Power Controls, Inc., and most recently a Master Electrician for Catamount Security & Electric, Inc., and Ski Bromley, LLC.
Joan Cooke, Senior Accountant Joan joins the Finance Dept. as Senior Accountant. Joan has a background in accounting and finance for profit and not for profit entities throughout the VT/NH Upper Valley area. Joan was most recently an Accountant at Northwoods Excavating, Inc.
