Steve comes to VHFA from Heartworks and Renaissance Schools where he worked for the past 15 years, most recently as the Human Resources and Business Manager.
“VHFA is happy to welcome someone with Steve’s directly relevant skills and experience in human resources and business planning... His expertise and enthusiasm will help the Agency remain one of the best places to work in Vermont," Sarah said.
Located in the heart of downtown Burlington, VHFA is a socially responsible employer with approximately 38 employees. Steve will manage VHFA’s excellent compensation and benefits package in his new role.
The Vermont Legislature created VHFA in 1974 to finance and promote affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Vermonters. Since its inception, the Agency has helped approximately 28,000 Vermont households with affordable mortgages and financed the development of approximately 8,600 affordable rental units.
