Lund has announced the addition of two new members to the management team.
Lorei Dawson started as the Director of Finance at Lund in November 2014 and is responsible for the financial management and strategic direction at Lund. Lorei comes from a diverse financial background, from public accounting to managing business operations at Community College of Vermont. Lorei is enthusiastic to be able to help Lund pursue its mission and contribute to its success in helping children and families in Vermont.
Shawn Galbreath joined Lund as the Director of Development in February 2015. Her primary role as Director includes developing, planning, and implementing the agency’s overall fundraising and public relations programs in coordination with the management team and the Board of Trustees. Shawn brings over 30 years of nonprofit and higher education management and fundraising experience. Of her new position, she says, ““I am here to help our community of supporters make the greatest impact on the lives of Vermont’s children and families, and to work with donors to ensure that the contribution they make is first and foremost a meaningful one for them and leaves a lasting mark on Lund. Whether you are thinking of providing a onetime gift, are giving your annual support, or perhaps making arrangements for a planned gift, I look forward to meeting with you and exploring ways in which you, your family, friends, and co-workers can partner with Lund.”
Lund helps children thrive by empowering families to break cycles of poverty, addiction and abuse. Lund offers hope and opportunity to families through education, treatment, family support and adoption. Lund is a member agency of the United Way of Chittenden County.
