The Addison County Chamber’s board of directors has appointed Sue Hoxie as its new president. Sue has served in the role of interim president since October 1st when her predecessor, Andy Mayer, relocated to Washington State. Sue has been with the Chamber since 2008 as its Marketing & Communications Director.
Like all Chambers in the state, the Chamber has gone through a year of transition. During the last 12 months, they’ve adjusted to a reality where they no longer offer health insurance products and have become even more focused on the benefits of membership: credibility, visibility, networking and supporting the business community. In the past five months Sue has ably led the transition that Andy had started. At the same time she is forming new alliances with the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations that will benefit our members with educational resources, affinity programs, and more.
The Chamber will remain level-staffed with Maria Benoit as its office manager and Pam Freilich as its customer services representative. Sue’s leadership and vision will be a benefit to the Addison County Chamber members.
