Windsor Fire Department teams up with Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center for firefighter training

Members of the Windsor Fire Department performed double duty recently as they took part in training activities at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center’s former Skilled Nursing Home facility. The training, which entailed breaking down walls and doors and simulated rescue situations, was also part of the construction project currently underway at MAHHC to remodel the old nursing home into a new state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation center.

Founded in 1933, Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center is a not-for-profit community hospital network including the critical access-designated Mt.
