Reynolds and Son, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronald A Morin to the position of VMI Manager. Ron has been instrumental in the success of Reynolds’ Vendor Managed Inventory Systems in his sales territory and will bring his expertise to accounts throughout Vermont and surrounding counties and Canada. Ron will maintain a reduced sales territory as he transitions to this new role beginning in January 2015. This new position reinforces a strategic focus by Reynolds and Son. “Being a reliable supply-chain partner hinges on providing both on-time and manageable production and MRO supplies used by manufacturers and general industry,” says Todd Goulette, President. “We are positioning ourselves to be a leader in Vendor Managed Inventory systems in our market area. Our systems have proven to be a huge benefit to our customers by reducing their procurement and operational costs. Ron has the knowledge and skills to take this initiative to the next level.” Ron Morin joined Reynolds and Son in 1973 and was soon promoted to Sales Representative. His understanding of the unique demands of Vermont industries including woodworking, dairy and food processing, along with his excellent organizational skills, has made him a top performer for many years. Ron, born in Newport, VT, received his Bachelors degree from St Josephs College, (now Southern Vermont College) and now lives in Burlington with his wife, Michele, and is father to 5 grown children.
