VSA Vermont has announced that at the 2014 VSA Affiliate Council Meeting in Washington, D.C., on July 22nd, VSA Vermont was recognized with two awards. Program Director Peggy Rainville received the VSA Affiliate Council 2014 Award for Dedication to Service, honoring her for 14 years of passionate work with VSA Vermont. We are delighted that Peggy was recognized for her amazing work by her colleagues across the country.
VSA Vermont was recognized by the VSA Affiliate Council with the 2014 Award for Excellence in Arts in Education. Executive Director Judy Chalmer accepted the award for VSA Vermont.
Rainville stayed on in Washington for the 2014 VSA Conference -- Intersections: Arts and Special Education. The 3-day conference included innovative, thought-provoking, and dynamic sessions for educators, administrators, researchers, teaching-artists and others interested in improving the arts and learning experience of students with disabilities.
