Jeffords Steel and Engineering Company, is proud to
announce the promotion of Jesse Ringer to the title of President.
Ringer first came to Jeffords Steel as an intern in 2005, according to Larry
Jeffords, Founder and CEO of Jeffords Steel, “Even then Jesse was
meticulous, hardworking and very dedicated. We hired him full time as a
Fabricated Sales Engineer in 2007 and he has been impressive ever since.”
Jeffords continued, “Jeffords Steel has grown for 30 years with the
reputation of building a quality product, excellent service, and the
engineering capability to provide the best pricing. Jesse has proven his
dedication to our philosophy, and with his appointment to President, Jeffords
Steel will continue the tradition for many more years.”
Ringer, 33, has an A.A.S. in Civil Engineering Technology from SUNY Canton
and a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of
Technology, resides in the Town of Chazy.
Larry Jeffords will remain as CEO, but will be less involved in day-to-day
operations.
Founded in 1985, Jeffords Steel and Engineering Company has fabrication
facilities in Plattsburgh and Potsdam, New York. The two plants cover over 12
acres, with a combined 60,000 square of manufacturing space and has over 100
employees. Jeffords maintains a full fleet of vehicles, which allows them to
effectively service all of northern New York from Watertown to Plattsburgh,
all of Vermont, western New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. Jeffords
Steel is certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC)
AISC's certification programs set the quality standard for the structural
steel industry and is the most recognized national quality certification
program for the industry.
