CVMC welcomes back Belle McDougall, PA to Central Vermont Orthopaedics, where she will be working part-time in Dr. Mahlon Bradley’s Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine clinic. McDougal will also provide surgical assistance to Dr. Bradley and to Central Vermont Orthopaedics’ spine surgeon, Dr. John Braun.
“I am very excited to be back at CVMC and to be a part of Dr. Bradley’s growing orthopedic practice,” said McDougall, who previously worked at CVMC from 1994 to 2006 in the Emergency Department and at Associates in Family Health. Since leaving CVMC, McDougal has worked in Fletcher Allen Healthcare’s Department of Orthopedics, where she will continue working part-time in Adult Reconstructive Surgery.
As a physician assistant, McDougall is excited about her ability to really make a difference in the lives of her patients. She has always loved anatomy and physiology and the challenges involved in working out the puzzles they present in patients. “It is rewarding to play a role in helping patients to become more active, which enhances their quality of life.”
McDougall received her BA in Earth Science from Dartmouth College, her NC-MA Health Science and PA Certificate from Duke University, and did her PA Surgical Residency at Norwalk/Yale New Haven.
Belle lives in Waterbury Center where she enjoys being involved in various family activities and sports with her husband and son. She is an avid skier, painter and gardener.
Central Vermont Orthopaedics, with specialties in Orthopaedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, Spine Surgery, and Podiatry, has two convenient locations.
