The board of directors of Everybody Wins! Vermont, a statewide mentoring and literacy organization, welcomes a new executive director Beth Wallace.
Beth has a background in early education, literacy, and nonprofit leadership. Before coming to Everybody Wins! Vermont, Beth founded the Children's Center at Ben & Jerry's in Waterbury and was the acquisitions editor at Redleaf Press in St. Paul, Minn. Beth has been self-employed as a publishing consultant, book development editor, and leadership coach since 2005. She is the editor-in-chief of Rainbow Rumpus, a monthly literary webzine for children with LGBT parents.
Everybody Wins! Vermont provides positive role models who foster a love of reading in more than 700 Vermont children each year. It just takes one hour a week to read with a child in one of 23 Vermont towns.
