Pine Computers announces new enterprise engineer

Pine Computers, Inc. announced today the promotion of Michael Ferland to the position of Enterprise Engineer. In this role, Ferland will oversee and manage all aspects enterprise commercial IT services at Pine, as well as day to day operations.

Ferland has been with Pine Computers for four and a half years and had held the position of Systems Technician.

“Our company and client base is growing rapidly, and some internal reallocation of resources was necessary to provide the management and oversight of larger projects,” said Tim Parrow, President and CEO of Pine Computers.

“Mike is a consummate IT professional. Whether designing, building or maintaining complex enterprise solutions, or working with an individual customer to solve an issue with a personal computer or laptop, Mike has the wonderful ability convey information succinctly, in simple terms and keep the customers’ needs as the top priority,” added Parrow.

With more than 15 years’ experience in IT, Ferland has hosted numerous computer, software and IT workshops and served as a keynote speaker at a number of seminars. His expertise includes every version of DOS, Windows, Linux and Mac and he specializes in commercial enterprise IT solutions. Ferland also previously served on the Advisory Committee of the Burlington Tech Center’s Computer Systems Course where he worked on curriculum development.
