Vermont Retail & Grocers Association elects new board of directors

In April, the Vermont Grocers Association and Vermont Retail Association merged to create the Vermont Retail and Grocers Association (VRGA). Jim Harrison, president of the new organization, announced the recent election of its first Board of Directors.

President: Todd Keyworth, owner and operator of the Harborside Harvest Market and Lake Champlain Clothing Company

Vice Chair for Public Policy: Marc Sherman, owner and operator of Stowe Mercantile

Vice Chair for Operation: Dwight LaFountain, General Manager with Champlain Oil Company

Vice Chair for Membership: Bob Diaco, co-owner and operator of Signarama of Vermont

Past Chair: Bonnie Hawley, owner and operator of Hawley’s Florist

“This is an exciting time for Vermont retailers and grocers.” Harrison noted. “With its expanded resources and unified membership, VRGA stands poised to represent members more powerfully in Montpelier, as well as to offer an enhanced array of benefits and services.”
