The Vermont Agency has announced that Jan Knutsen earned the 2014 NAIFA-VT (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers) “New Advisor of the Year” award. The award was presented to Jan at the Annual NAIFA-VT meeting held this year on May 13th at the UVM Davis Center.
This Award is in recognition of an individual who has rendered outstanding service to the association, the industry, and the public in areas that bring credit to both the insurance business and the Adviser. Since 1979 the Association has been proud to present this award to a first year adviser with the highest production after they have completed their first full calendar year of business.
Jo Ann Thibault, FSS, CDFA, also of The Vermont Agency™ was elected the 2014-2015 President of NAIFA. Jo Ann has been with The Vermont Agency for six years. Jo Ann is also a Financial Services Specialist and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Jo Ann Thibault is a registered representative and investment adviser representative of Equity Services, Inc., broker/dealer and registered investment adviser affiliate of National Life Insurance Company, Montpelier, VT.
Kami Cunningham, also of The Vermont Agency™ was elected the 2014-2015 Secretary/Treasurer of NAIFA. Kami has been with The Vermont Agency for one year and has been in the insurance industry for ten years.
