Wake Robin announces Patrick McKee as new president and CEO

The Board of Directors at Wake Robin, Vermont’s first lifecare community, announced yesterday that Patrick McKee will take over as President and CEO following Allie Stickney’s retirement next month. The Board of Directors, Wake Robin residents and staff thank Stickney for her 7 ½ years of dedicated service to the community, and are eager to begin the next chapter with McKee as leader.

“Patrick McKee comes to us with a strong background in the skills and outlook that are a close fit with Wake Robin’s traditions and culture,” said David Provost, chair of the Board of Directors at Wake Robin. “He has a demonstrated commitment to community on all levels – residents, staff and family members.”

Prior to accepting the position as Wake Robin President and CEO, McKee held the role of president at Challenge Workforce Solutions in Ithaca, New York, where he worked to transform the organization to a self-sustaining business model. At Challenge Workforce Solutions, McKee also created Lakes Fresh, which produces hydroponic power for schools, foodbanks and healthcare facilities.

McKee has roots in Vermont, and spent 11 years as the executive director and CEO of Spring Lake Ranch, a residential community for people with substance abuse or mental health issues located in Shrewsbury, Vt.

Wake Robin’s Board of Directors and leadership staff are confident that McKee’s combination of past experience and dedication to community values make him a perfect match for the top leadership role, and are pleased to welcome him to Wake Robin.
