Rutland Regional Medical Center announced today that Roshan Siva, MD has been named Rutland Regional Medical Center’s 2014 Physician of the Year. The annual announcement is one of the community’s most prestigious honors bestowed upon a physician because of its acknowledgment from colleagues and medical peers.
Dr. Siva, a radiologist, was selected as the medical staff member who best personifies the hospital’s core values and patient-centered model of care. “It is an honor to recognize, Dr. Siva,” says Tom Huebner, CEO of Rutland Regional Medical Center. “Dr. Siva truly embodies excellence in patient care and is dedicated to the standards of service that make up the core values of Rutland Regional.”
In nominations submitted by his peers, Dr. Siva was cited for devoting his career to improving the lives of patients through extraordinary clinical expertise as well as his exemplary dedication and skillful leadership on many key boards and committees. “The underlying reason for Dr. Siva’s involvement…is to deliver quality health care and continued improvements to the care of our patients,” wrote one colleague. “In addition to his technical skills and board service his personal dedication to patients is remarkable.”
