The Richards Group, a Vermont based professional services firm specializing in insurance, employee benefits and retirement plan consulting, has recently expanded their client offerings by launching a new business unit focused on Human Resources and Leadership Development. These additional services will allow The Richards Group to meet the rapidly growing demand for human capital advice and leadership development training for employers throughout the New England region.
In conjunction with these expanded services, The Richards Group is pleased to announce the hiring of Ross Gibson to lead the new Human Resources and Leadership Development business unit. Ross was most recently Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources at World Learning, a global academic institution and Non-Governmental Organization with approximately 1,000 employees. Over the past 30 years working in the Human Resources field, Ross has held several senior level positions including Vice President, Learning and Organizational Development at Charles River Labs and Vice President, Human Resources at both American Superconductor and Cambridge Neuroscience, Inc. In addition, Ross is a certified facilitator in several of the award-winning and internationally recognized Franklin Covey courses including the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Ross is past president of the 4,000 member Northeast Human Resources Association and is active in several local and regional Human Resources and training organizations.
Ross brings a wealth of experience and will be helping businesses address workplace challenges through increased employee engagement. Other areas of focus include recruitment, retention, compensation & benefits, compliance, succession planning and many others. Lastly, Ross will be leading both public and private leadership training and development for businesses throughout the New England region.
