Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Darren Keniston of Milton, VT has joined Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) as Mortgage Loan Analyst.
Darren comes to VHFA from One Main Financial and CitiMortgage, where he held the roles of Loss Mitigation Specialist 2 and Recovery Unit Senior Supervisor. Darren previously worked for VHFA as a Loan Servicing Specialist from 1997 to 2000.
Tom Connors, VHFA’s Chief Financial Officer commented, “We look forward to welcoming Darren back to VHFA in the role of Mortgage Loan Analyst. He has worked for several years in the mortgage industry, which will bring valuable experience and expertise to the Finance Department”.
VHFA is a non-profit agency created in 1974 by the Vermont Legislature to finance and promote affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Vermonters. Since its inception, the Agency has helped approximately 28,000 Vermont households with affordable mortgages and financed the development of approximately 8,600 affordable rental units.
