Logic Supply hires new director of IT, Amy Coutu

Logic Supply, a South Burlington-based industrial computer company, welcomes a new Information Technology Director, Amy Coutu to the leadership team. In her new role, Coutu will oversee the development and implementation of computer and telecommunications software, networks, and information systems. Amy will be leading the current three-member development team as well as taking part in the selection process for two new full-time Software Developers and two additional interns that the company is currently looking to hire.

“Amy’s skill-set and experience will be a great asset to the company,” said Mark Heyman, HR Director for Logic Supply. “Amy will lead development of our Open ERP and Magento applications; creating robust and scalable software for high-volume web-based applications, as well as ensure productive and efficient internal business operations.”

Coutu brings an extensive background with more than 15 years of experience leading, building and delivering software solutions. Before joining the Logic Supply team, Coutu was the Senior Software Architect for CA Technologies. Her experience includes past roles as a Developer, Business Analyst, and Software Architect. Amy is also a lifelong learner and is currently pursuing her MS in Engineering Management from Clarkson University.

With a focus on highly customizable, rugged computer systems, Logic Supply relies heavily on website traffic for a large part of their business. Coutu and her team will be tasked with ensuring clients and casual visitors alike are met with a user-friendly experience. The development team will also coordinate with all of Logic Supply’s departments to streamline internal systems and processes.
